Position (1SE) Technology Support Specialist (2 Positions) Responsible for developing and applying CAD software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems. Plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software involving the assessment of architecture and hardware limitation. Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters. Develops routines and utility programs. Prepares design specifications, analysis, and recommendations for presentation and approval. May specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Must have experience with Cadence and/or Mentor design kit construction. Education Requirements: BSEE or BSCS This position is in the southeast region. For the correct candidate relocation support is available. Position (2SE) Technology Model Developer Responsibilities include characterization and modeling of advanced CMOS, BiCMOS and LDMOS semiconductor devices. The engineer will measure and characterize BJT's, FET's, varactors, capacitors, inductors, and resistors using wafer probe, pulsed network analysis, and load/source-pull equipment. Measured data will be incorporated into various industry standard and customized compact models. Familiarity with BJT, MOSFET, LDMOS and passive device model extraction is required. Familiarity with Agilent ICCAP, ADS, and Cadence SpectreRF is required. Experience with WaveVue is a plus. Education Requirements: MSEE degree, or BSEE and equivalent experience.
